The Start of Something New
This is the time of year when seasonal affective disorder really kicks in for me. I miss being outside with my garden. And the truth is that spending so much time inside often makes me feel claustrophobic. I am definitely an outdoor kind of person. When I’m outside I feel like I can breathe again. I think that is why I love to set new goals in the winter, because I need something to focus on during the darkness. Working on my art is a good release of emotion but I have to have more than just one outlet. Writing my thoughts out is so therapeutic and I need some motivation to get projects done so I’ve decided to get back to blogging on a regular basis. Starting in January I plan on posting twice a week (and I’m writing that here to keep myself accountable). I’m also planning on moving things over to a website instead of Blogger. I’ll be doing garden, home, and hopefully once the garden gets going some recipes/what’s for dinner posts. Stay tuned!
